Nominations for 2010 U.S. Hockey Hall of Fame Now Being Accepted

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. - The nomination process for the United States Hockey Hall of Fame Class of 2010 has begun. Individuals can nominate any player, coach, referee, administrator or support personnel who has made an extraordinary contribution to the sport of ice hockey in America.

All nominations will be forwarded to a selection committee for review, and the U.S. Hockey Hall of Fame Class of 2010 will be announced later this year.

Nomination forms must be submitted by March 31.

NOTES: The U.S. Hockey Hall of Fame was established in 1973 and will welcome its 38th class of inductees in 2010. There are currently 143 enshrined members consisting of 90 players, 26 coaches, 21 administrators, two players/administrators, one referee and three teams ... The U.S. Hockey Hall of Fame Class of 2009 included the 1998 U.S. Olympic Women's Ice Hockey Team, Tony Amonte, Tom Barrasso, John LeClair and the late Frank Zamboni.
