U.S. Hockey Hall of Fame Class of 2020 to be Unveiled Monday on NBCSN’s NHL Live

Announcement to be handled by NBC’s Eddie Olczyk (Class of 2012)

The U.S. Hockey Hall of Fame Class of 2020 will be unveiled Monday (Sept. 14) on NBCSN during NHL Live in advance of game 5 of the NHL’s Western Conference Finals between the Vegas Golden Knights and Dallas Stars, it was announced today by USA Hockey.

The announcement of the Class of 2020, which is expected to come between 7:30-8:00 p.m. ET, will be handled by NBC’s Eddie Olczyk, who was enshrined into the U.S. Hockey Hall of Fame in 2012.

“We’re excited to unveil the Class of 2020 during the Stanley Cup Playoffs,” said Pat Kelleher, executive director of USA Hockey, “As the caretaker for the U.S. Hockey Hall of Fame, it’s great to have partners like NBC and the NHL in helping provide the high level of visibility appropriate in honoring what will be the 48th Class of enshrinees."

The U.S. Hockey Hall of Fame was incorporated in 1969 and inducted its first Class in 1973. The U.S. Hockey Hall of Fame Museum, located in Eveleth, Minn., is the shrine of American hockey and showcases members of the U.S. Hockey Hall of Fame in addition to celebrating great moments in U.S. hockey history.
